How do Students Qualify for Program Services?
To establish eligibility for program services, the student:

Must be U.S. Citizen or permanent resident

Must be an undergraduate student pursuing a four-year degree at WSU

Must be a student with a learning, physical or psychological disability, and provide clear documentation to the program
The students must present the following information according to their disability:
Learning Disability/ADHD/ADD

testing administered within the last three years by a licensed professional, which verifies a disability

an accompanied report which explains scores and results

documented need for services
Medical Disability

a statement of diagnosis from a medical doctor including need for services
Psychiatric Disability

a statement of diagnosis from a qualified professional

an accompanied report explaining symptoms and need for services
All documentation is confidential information and is protected as such. If you have a disability that is not documented, the DSS Staff will assist you in locating a licensed professional qualified to assist you with assessing and documenting your disability.
