Benders of Twigs

The Benders of Twigs ceremony was conceived in 1951 by University of 成人头条 President Harry Corbin, his assistant Kathryn Griffith, and English Professor Bill Nelson. The ceremony honors faculty and staff with 25 years of service to the University. The term "Bender of Twigs" refers to the similarity between the way a young sapling bends toward the light as it grows and how faculty and staff help lead students in their search for knowledge.
