How Do I Share My Video?

Now that you have completed your recording using the Lightboard Studio, you may be wondering how best to share your work with others. This training will discuss the best options available to you.

Next, in your OneDrive area, use the option to 'Upload', and choose 'Files'. This will open a file explorer window where you can select your video file.

Locate your thumb drive folder in the file explorer window and find your video file.

Once you have found the correct video, select it and click 'open'. This will upload the video to your OneDrive.

You can now share your the OneDrive video link.

From Zoom Cloud

Sharing the OneDrive Video Link

To share the video with others from OneDrive, select the file using the selection circle to the left of the file name.

Next use either the vertical ellipsis mark or the ribbon at the top of the page, and select the 'Share' option. This will open a pop up window with additional options to 'Send link' or 'Copy link'.

Whichever option you choose, please note the sharing permissions currently in use before sending or copying the link.

In many cases, the sharing permissions will be set to 'People in 成人头条 with the link'. This means that only those with WSU credentials will be able to access the file, and only with the link.

If this permissions setting doesn't meet your needs, there are additional options available that you can select.

    • Anyone with the link
    • People with existing access
    • Specific people

If at any point you have difficulties with OneDrive--whether accessing, signing in, uploading files, or sharing--please contact the HelpDesk for assistance.

Start by going to Panopto and navigating to the folder that holds your video. Hover your mouse over the video and additional options for settings, share, edit, and delete will appear.

Select 'Share' and the Share settings window will open.

It is important to know that in order for others to be able to view the video using the link, you will need to change the 鈥榃ho has access鈥 setting to 鈥楢nyone at your organization with the link鈥欌攐r if you are sharing your video in a Blackboard course, ensure that the course has been properly configured.

*Please note, there are three very similar share options. Any of these options is acceptable for videos that do not include protected student information.

    • "Anyone at your organization with the link" requires that users be logged in with WSU credentials and have the specific video link in order for them to be able to view the video.
    • "Anyone at your organization" only requires that the user be logged into Panopto with their WSU credentials. They may then find the video through our WSU Panopto site, without being specifically given the link.
    • "Anyone with the link" only requires that the user has the link. This does not require the user to log in, meaning the video could be shared with individuals outside of WSU.

Once you have selected the proper access setting, click on the link inside the box at the top of the Share page that lists the video URL.

Copy the link using keyboard shortcuts or right-click with your mouse and select copy.

You can now share your link as needed.
