MLK Day 2023

Today we honor a man who helped changed the course of history. A man who bravely fought for what was right. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. led the American Civil Rights Movement for about 13 years and is regarded as one of the greatest nonviolent advocates of racial equality in our country鈥檚 history. Largely due to Dr. King鈥檚 work, Congress passed the Civil Rights Act (1964) and the Voting Rights Act (1965).

Habitat for Humanity MLK Day 2023

  • Who: Ages 10+
  • What: Construction (no tools or experience needed)

  • Who: All ages
  • What: Select, package, and deliver books to Little Free Libraries
  • When: 9:00 am 鈥 11:00 am

ICT Street Team

  • Who: Healthcare practitioners (or non-medical volunteers of all ages)
  • What: Provide free medical care or donate money and supplies to provide healthcare services to the homeless community in 成人头条
  • Where: Drop donations (like blankets, gloves, or OTC medications at Professional Pharmacy (744 N. Waco)

  • What: School supply donations (pencils, dry erase markets, markets, notebook paper, tissues, etc.)
