Procedures for Self-Quarantine Under COVID-19
Self-quarantine is recommended for individuals who have been directly exposed to the new Coronavirus or have history of travel in infected or heavily populated areas.
Mental Health Tips
Being cooped up in your home can be stressful and can take a toll on your mental health.
Here are some mental health practices to get your mind right!
1. Social distancing does NOT mean emotional distancing; use technology to connect
widely;
2. Clear routines and schedule, seven days a week, at home鈥攄on鈥檛 go overboard;
3. Exercise and physical activity, daily if possible;
4. Learning and intellectual engagement鈥攂ooks, reading, limited internet;
5. Positive family time鈥攚orking to counter negativity;
6. Alone time, outside if possible, but inside too; but remember, don鈥檛 isolate;
7. Focused meditation and relaxation;
8. Remember the things that you really enjoy doing, that you can do in this situation,
and find a way to do them;
9. Limit exposure to TV and internet news; choose small windows and then find ways to
cleanse yourself of it;
10. Bathe daily, if possible, to reinforce the feeling of cleanliness.
Self-Quarantine Workout Routine
While it is important to stay in quarantine, it is also important to be healthy and productive. You can't be sleeping all day! Get up and get active with these workout routines! No weights or gym needed!
Tips & Tricks for Online Classes
It can be hard to transfer from in-person to online classes so abruptly. Here are some tips to help make the transition a bit easier.
