What support will I get from my Success Team?
The Success Coach role at 成人头条 State is to provide support to both faculty and students on a department level as well as one-on-one. The Coaches provide students with academic support in areas such as time management, procrastination, test preparation, note taking, reading strategies and accountability. They are able to work individually with students, assess their strengths and needs and develop a personalized plan of action. Students are welcome to stop by anytime for assistance, however scheduling a meeting in advance is encouraged.
Advising is much more than just building a schedule; it's an ongoing partnership between the student, advisors and advising staff to promote your success and help you graduate in a timely manner.
Academic advisors form partnerships with students in the following ways:
- Assist students to set short- and long-term goals.
- Provide career information regarding the degree fields of interest.
- Inform students about university policies and procedures important to a student's progress.
- Draw upon a comprehensive knowledge of campus resources and assist students in referral and access to such services.

Ablah Library serves as the main library facility for WSU. As a primary research resource, we strive to support faculty and student needs. Not only can you work with a librarian to help with your research, you can book a space to study, checkout technology for your academic work, attend workshops and events, and explore Special Collections (where all the cool university history is kept!).
