The following are links to the placement exams, you will need to log in to Blackboard to take the exams using your myWSU ID and password:

Please note, the following steps will need to be followed seperately for each placement exam.
Step 1: After clicking the link to the exam, a page will display in a seperate window. This page will take you to the online instructions for placement exams. Each step will appear to you along the way as you proceed to the exam as well. Click Enroll on the top left-hand side of the screen.
Step 2: Your screen will now display information regarding the test 鈥 this is for office use only. Click Submit on the lower right-hand side of the screen A confirmation screen will display, to move to the next step, click OK on the bottom right.
Step 3: You will be given the option to take a quiz assessing the need for you to take the placement exam. If your advisor has instructed you to take the exam, please skip this step and click on 鈥淪tep 4: Schedule Proctor鈥 on the left side of the screen.
Step 4: If you have not done so already, click the link to contact the department for the password for the test鈥 this will bring up a separate window to email the department and receive further instructions and a password to take your placement exam. If you are not able to click the link or a window does not open, please email the department directly at the following address:

Step 5: When you receive information from the department for your placement exam, you will log back in with the instructions in Steps 1-3 mentioned above. Click on 鈥淪tep 5鈥 鈥 and then follow the instructions to access your exam.
Step 6: Click the link Begin at the bottom right
Step 7: Enter the password provided by the department and click Submit to begin the exam. Please note, this test is timed.
When your exam is complete, the information will be sent to the department for grading. Your results will be posted typically within a week, if not sooner. If you have questions regarding your exam, please reach out directly to the department.
Please be aware there is a $10 exam fee (per exam) that will be placed on your student account after completing your exam.
