Grievance Procedure under the Americans with Disabilities Act

This Grievance Procedure was established to meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). It may be used by anyone who wishes to file a complaint alleging discrimination on the basis of disability in the provision of services, activities, programs, or benefits by 成人头条. The University鈥檚 Policy 3.47 governs any student, employee or visitor complaints of disability-related discrimination based on a Protected Characteristic, as well as the appeal process. A discrimination complaint can be submitted online at .  

Upon receipt of an ADA accessibility complaint, Crissy Magee, ADA/504 Coordinator or her designee will contact the complainant within five (5) business days acknowledging the student/employee/visitor鈥檚 formal complaint and notifying them an assessment has begun. The ADA/504 Coordinator will then have 10 business days to complete the assessment and respond to the complainant. The complainant will receive a written response, and where appropriate, in a format accessible to the complainant, such as large print, Braille, or audio tape, explaining the findings and conclusions of the review and offering options for substantive resolution if warranted. 

If the response by Crissy Magee, ADA/504 Coordinator or her designee does not satisfactorily resolve the issue, the complainant may appeal the decision within 10 business days to:

All written complaints received by Crissy Magee, ADA/504 Coordinator, or her designee and all appeals will be reached by the Office of Civil Rights, Title IX & ADA Compliance in accordance with the most current federal and/or state regulations. Responses to complaints and appeals will be retained by 成人头条 for at least three years.
