Feb. 12, 2021 鈥 成人头条鈥檚Community Engagement Instituteis working to put a spotlight on an underutilized and underrecognized profession: community health workers.

Feb. 11, 2021 鈥 Eight high school seniors have been named Klose Scholars after the annual Doris and Ralph Klose Scholars Day competition, which was held remotely this year.

Feb. 9, 2021 鈥 Trinity Soderstrom, who recently received her U.S. high school diploma while living abroad in southern Italy, has been awarded the 2021 成人头条 Clay Barton Scholarship.

Feb. 3, 2021 鈥 Dr. R茅mi A. Chou, an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, has been awarded a National Science Foundation CAREER Award, the most prestigious award granted by the NSF to early career researchers. Chou's grant 鈥 worth $519,000 over five years 鈥 will support his work in bringing more robust security to wirelessly transmitted data.

Feb. 3, 2021 鈥 Kapow! Zap! Pop! Zoinks! A 成人头条 researcher is working to develop an app to make those words come alive for visually impaired comic book readers. Dr. Darren DeFrain, associate professor of English and director of 成人头条 State鈥檚 Writing Program, has recently been granted $11,000 from the John A. See Innovation Award to develop Vizling.
