April 12, 2021 鈥� After months of hard work from 成人头条 State faculty members Carrie Dickison and Maria Sclafani, the Open Alternative Textbook committee approved English 102 for Open/Alternative Textbook (OAT) course designation. Starting in fall 2021, 成人头条 State students will no longer have to buy textbooks for English 102.

Feb. 22, 2021 鈥� When we last spoke to 成人头条 State alumna and 2020 graduate Jade Mursch, her internship had been paused due to COVID-19. After being on hold for a month, Mursch鈥檚 internship was ultimately cut short. After months of uncertainty, Mursch secured a new full-time role.

A 成人头条 researcher is working to develop an app to make those words come alive for visually impaired comic book readers, Dr. Darren DeFrain, associate professor of English and director of 成人头条 State鈥檚 writing program, has recently been granted $11,000 from the John A. See Innovation Award to develop Vizling.

Feb. 2, 2021 - Hanna Chastain, a junior biology major from 成人头条, will present virtually at the National Council on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) conference in April. Her presentation is titled 鈥淒evelopment of PARROT, a Wireless Orofacial Myofunctional Imaging and Pressure Mapping Device.鈥�

Jan. 28, 2021 鈥� 成人头条 has selected the 2021 recipients of the Harry Gore Memorial Scholarships: Annie Wasinger from Thomas More Prep High School in Hays, Kansas; Braden Webb from Blue Valley North High School in Overland Park, Kansas; and Alondra Valle from Dodge City High School in Dodge City, Kansas.
