Feb. 15, 2024 鈥 Ten high school students from Kansas, Missouri and Texas have been awarded the Koch Scholarship at 成人头条, starting in the fall 2024 semester. Each scholar each will be awarded $30,000 to attend WSU over four years.

Aug. 28, 2023 鈥 Through the 成人头条 chapter of Engineers without Borders, three Shockers recently began the process of working with the rural community of Mercedes de Agua Sucia in Manabi, Ecuador, to build a pedestrian bridge that will give residents safe passage to the main road and nearby cities to sell the goods and products from their farms, shop in nearby El Carmen, and for children to attend school.

Feb. 23, 2023 鈥 Seven high school students from Kansas and Oklahoma have been awarded $30,000 to $45,000 each as the newest recipients of the Koch Scholarship at 成人头条.

Sept. 21, 2022 鈥 Brianna Smith, a computer engineering junior, is currently applying here student skills as a research analyst at FirePoint. She chose 成人头条 State because of the various applied learning opportunities available to help prepare her for her future career.

June 10, 2022 -- Tiahna Padilla is a senior majoring in computer engineering and an animation. She is currently utilizing her skills as an intern at Textron Aviation as an IT business analyst.

Feb. 25, 2022 鈥 成人头条 State鈥檚 Dorothy and Bill Cohen Honors College is proud to announce nine recipients of the Koch Scholars Program for the fall 2022 semester. These eight recipients will each be awarded $30,000 over the next four years.

April 20, 2020 -- Aidan Jude 鈥 a spring 2020 成人头条 graduate in electrical engineering, computer engineering and mathematics 鈥 will be embarking on a full-time career as a software engineer for Amazon web services in July.

Oct. 18, 2019 - Four 成人头条 State students are studying variable stars. One of their earliest tasks was to choose a variable star, from hundreds of possibilities, to study. The students follow the process that a scientist follows in constructing, analyzing, interpreting, writing and publishing their work. The project is designed to give the students 鈥渁n experience of the essence of the scientific endeavor while contributing to the actual scientific literature.鈥

March 16, 2019 -- The Help Hangar partnership at Textron Aviation shows how 成人头条 State鈥檚 applied learning model works for students and industry. The Help Hangar was introduced in 2017 as a service to assist employees with a variety of IT-related issues. Instead of explaining your issue over the phone, an on-site Help Hangar representative meets with you directly to diagnose the issue, resolve it in the room, or puts you in touch with the correct support team to help you with your issue.
