She will receive her Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering this fall as a first-gen student.

Dec. 05, 2023 鈥� Joe Mazzara is a GSA serving as the assistant director of聽成人头条 State Esports, an opportunity that initially drew him to WSU. He was also a featured guest on the聽September 2023 episode of President Rick Muma's "Forward Together" podcast. After graduating with his master鈥檚 degree, he plans to pursue additional education by pursuing his doctorate.

Oct. 26, 2023 - Support from the Rudd Scholars program helped Hallie Fritz adjust to college and find internships. She is active in the St. Paul Catholic Student Center and works at Credo Coffee Shop. 成人头条 State is proud of its role helping Rudd Scholars pursue passions and realize dreams in the state鈥檚 largest city.

Oct. 25, 2023 - 成人头条 State鈥檚 Rudd Scholars work with youngsters in the 鈥淏right Lights Educational Enrichment Program鈥� at the Leslie Rudd Learning Center at League 42鈥檚 McAdams Park baseball complex. Each afternoon, several of them work on math skills with students in fifth through eighth grade and literacy with students in kindergarten through fifth grade.

Oct. 17, 2023 - WSU seniors Emily Redfield and Cat Kee attended the National Stage Combat Workshop in Ruston, La. The three-week course offered instruction, testing and certification with weapons such as swords, shields, firearms, rapiers, daggers and quarterstaffs.

Oct. 9, 2023 鈥� The 成人头条 Math Circle pairs pre-college students with mathematics professionals from WSU to understand and work with interesting problems and topics in math at weekly workshops.

Oct. 4, 2023 鈥� 成人头条 has announced the creation of the WSU Retiree Association (WSURA), aimed at providing new paths for Shocker faculty and staff retirees to continue active engagement with the university. The new association adds to the existing array of perks available to retirees.

Sept. 26, 2023 - Kian Williams, a junior at 成人头条, is helping the Kansas Aviation Museum chart its future. The work researching aviation connects with the background that shaped a love for history. Williams volunteered at the Reno County Museum as a youngster.

Sept. 19, 2023 鈥� Through the inaugural Student Practical Architecting Challenge (SPARC), FirePoint Innovations Center at 成人头条 awarded nearly $40,000 to two student-based teams for their novel innovations in devising future-ready, modular and adaptable software systems to support the Department of Defense's (DOD) Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA) initiative.
