April 1, 2022 鈥� What do you picture when you think of lasers? Laser pointers? Perhaps laser eye surgery or barcode scanners? Turns out there鈥檚 more to lasers than most people realize, and a 成人头条 chemistry team recently discovered a new series of laser material with potential commercial use.

成人头条 State president launches 'Forward Together' podcast

March 10, 2022 鈥� 成人头条 President Rick Muma has launched a new podcast, called 鈥淔orward Together,鈥� where the president speaks with guests from throughout Shocker Nation to highlight the people and priorities that guide WSU. The podcast drops monthly, with the March edition releasing March 9. Some of the guests so far include Hollywood director Dean Hargrove, WSU basketball coach Isaac Brown and WSU research vice president Coleen Pugh.

Air Force awards $100 million to continue WSU NIAR's B-1 Digital Engineering program

On March 9, 2022, the B-1 System Program Office (SPO), Tinker AFB, OK awarded a six-year, $100 million follow-on contract to 成人头条鈥檚 National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) to continue the B-1鈥檚 Digital Engineering (DE) transformation. The National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS) helped form the strategic partnership and created a flexible contract structure, which allows NIAR and the B-1 SPO to adapt requirements real-time to meet critical warfighter needs.

WSU to remove mask requirement on campus; masks strongly recommended

March 3, 2022 鈥� In accordance with recently updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, effective Friday, March 4, masks will no longer be required for students, employees or visitors, regardless of vaccination status, while on or in 成人头条 premises or while attending campus activities or athletic events (unless otherwise noted). This includes all indoor and outdoor campus locations.

Margaret Dechant named new chair of Barton School's Dean's Advisory Board

Feb. 22, 2022 - The Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board for the W. Frank Barton School of Business at 成人头条 is excited to announce Margaret Dechant as its new leader. Dechant, CEO and partner at 6 Meridian, will take over for Clark Bastian. Dechant currently serves as a member of the board and looks to bring her knowledge and passion for the Barton School and WSU to her appointment. Bastian chairman of Fidelity Bank, will remain on the board after his term as chair comes to an end in June.

WSU study of 成人头条's litter shows room for improvement

Feb. 22, 2022 鈥� The 成人头条 Litter Study was borne from community concern about the number of single-use plastic bags floating throughout the city. The study focused on 12 small sites within 成人头条 municipal parks 鈥� two parks within each city council district; and the data, while concerning, was not altogether a surprise for the research team.
