March 1, 2022 鈥 成人头条 State鈥檚 Molecular Diagnostics Lab (MDL) is re-opening COVID test collections to the public starting today (March 1).

Feb. 23, 2022 鈥 成人头条 State alumnus J. Robert Young has pledged a gift of $3 million to provide resources that will help students build successful careers. Of that total, $2 million will endow the J. Robert Young Executive-in-Residence Program in the W. Frank Barton School of Business. The remaining $1 million will support the Shocker Success Center project, which will consolidate 17 student services in Clinton Hall.

Feb. 22, 2022 - The Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board for the W. Frank Barton School of Business at 成人头条 is excited to announce Margaret Dechant as its new leader. Dechant, CEO and partner at 6 Meridian, will take over for Clark Bastian. Dechant currently serves as a member of the board and looks to bring her knowledge and passion for the Barton School and WSU to her appointment. Bastian chairman of Fidelity Bank, will remain on the board after his term as chair comes to an end in June.

Feb. 22, 2022 鈥 The 成人头条 Litter Study was borne from community concern about the number of single-use plastic bags floating throughout the city. The study focused on 12 small sites within 成人头条 municipal parks 鈥 two parks within each city council district; and the data, while concerning, was not altogether a surprise for the research team.

Jan. 28, 2022 鈥敵扇送诽 has selected the 2022 recipients of the Harry Gore Memorial Scholarships. Each student will receive a $64,000 scholarship to attend WSU in fall 2022.

Jan. 18, 2022 鈥 成人头条 State鈥檚 Molecular Diagnostics Lab (MDL) is open and continues to process thousands of COVID tests with 24-hour results. However, the lab has indefinitely suspended its COVID test collection service.

Frank Barton School of Business, attempted to measure those contributions in its Arts and Culture Impact Analysis for 2021. The study is part of the CEDBR鈥檚 series of studies that demonstrate how the university drives the local and state economy.

Dec. 2, 2021 鈥 In an effort to meet community needs, 成人头条鈥檚 Molecular Diagnostics Lab (MDL) has developed a test to detect all three viruses 鈥 RSV, influenza and COVID-19 (RIC) 鈥 from one nasal swab. The RIC test is available to all individuals and partners who test via the MDL.

The 2021 SMI, calculated by CollegeNET Inc., benchmarks 1,549 four-year colleges and universities in the United States according to how effectively they enroll students from low-income backgrounds and graduate them into well-paying jobs.

Coalition helped 成人头条 State increase its voting rate for students by 19.2 percent from 2016, according to the 2020 National Study of Learning, Voting and Engagement. 成人头条 State鈥檚 2020 voting rate of 68.1 percent is above the national 66 percent rate, according to the data compiled by the Tufts University Institute For Democracy & Higher Education.
