Feb. 28, 2019 -- The National Science Foundation (NSF) has released updated rankings for university research and development (R&D) expenditures, and 成人头条 State has held its position as the top university in the country for industry-funded aeronautical R&D, with a total of $34 million.

Feb. 26, 2019 -- Two 成人头条 State Public Health Sciences faculty members are focusing their research on health equity for women in Kansas. The researchers have been approved for a $250,000 Engagement Award for their project 鈥淲omen Involved Network (WIN for Kansas): Community Collaboration to Create Health Equity.鈥

Feb. 26, 2019 -- Remi Chou, an assistant professor in electrical engineering and computer science at 成人头条 State, has received a two-year, $156,000 grant from the National Science Foundation for research to ensure secure transfer of confidential information over wireless networks.

Feb. 22, 2019 -- 成人头条鈥檚 College of Engineering has named the latest group of high school seniors to be awarded Wallace Scholarships worth $342,000.

Feb. 20, 2019 -- The 成人头条 Dorothy and Bill Cohen Honors College has announced the 10 recipients of the Koch Scholars program for the fall 2019 semester. Selected from more than 100 applicants, these 10 recipients will each be awarded between $30,000 and $45,000 during their four-year attendance at WSU.

Feb. 15, 2019 -- Former Kansas Gov. Mark Parkinson and his wife, Stacy, have established a generous scholarship at 成人头条 to help children of undocumented immigrants earn their degrees to pursue the American Dream.

Feb. 3, 2019 -- 成人头条 State psychology professor and chair Rhonda Lewis and Chelsea Redger-Marquardt, associate director of student involvement, want their students to get out of the classroom and into the community. Then the students connect their community service to their classroom with reflection, discussion, projects and papers.

Jan. 29, 2019 -- Trevor Cumpston, a senior from Aurora High School in Aurora, Nebraska, has won the 2019 成人头条 Clay Barton Scholarship.

Jan 28, 2019 -- Sierra Bonn, a junior majoring in biomedical engineering, was recently recognized as one of the six 成人头条 State students named as University Innovation Fellows.
