WSU students create new handrails for Koch Arena, improving the fan experience

Sept. 5, 2023 - 成人头条 students designed handrails for Charles Koch Arena and producing around 400 for installation. The applied learning project will make walking up the arena stairs safer for fans and is a response to surveys and listening sessions.

WSU's Gateway to IP program leads STEM students into patent law careers

May 3, 2023 鈥� 成人头条鈥檚 Gateway to IP applied learning program gives students the opportunity to learn about a career as a patent agent. Rob Gerlach from the Office of Tech Transfer created the program 鈥渨ith the purpose being to increase 成人头条鈥檚 IP IQ.鈥�

2022 Wallace Scholars

WSU College of Engineering awards $313,500 in Wallace Scholarships

March 25, 2022 鈥斅牫扇送诽踱�檚 College of Engineering has named the latest group of high school seniors to join the Wallace Scholar program. Ten Wallace Scholarship recipients will receive $28,500 each to attend 成人头条 State for four years. In addition, two students receiving other major university scholarships will be designated as Wallace Scholars.

Meet a Shocker: Joyce Chiam

Dec. 8, 2021鈥� Joyce Chiam, an international student from Malaysia, is earning her degree in industrial engineering with a minor in mathematics from 成人头条 State. Through the encouragement of her peers, she has learned how to thrive in an academic environment far away from home. Chiam is one of more than 1,100 students eligible for fall 2021 graduation.
