This training and workshop aims to provide educators with the essential knowledge, skills, and resources to guide and inspire students in technology, cybersecurity education, and career pathways.

The training and workshops will run here at 成人头条 on July 23 and July 24, 2024. There is no cost to participate in the event. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all participants each day. We have some funding available to support hotel and travel costs ($250/person).

Can I attend virtually if I am unable to attend in person?

Yes, a virtual/hybrid option is available. While we would love to have you join us in 成人头条, we understand that traveling can be tricky.

Can I earn graduate credit form 成人头条?

Yes! Attendees can earn 0.5 hours of graduate credit after attending the two days of the event and completing one take-home assignment. The cost is $32.50. We will share the details on how to obtain the credit during the event. The paperwork can be filled out after the training.

Who will be leading the trainings and workshops?

Faculty and Staff from the Education Pathway National Center (EPNC)  and 成人头条 State University (成人头条, KS).

What is a Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity?

Institutions that receive a CAE-C designation have met the rigorous requirements set forth by the sponsor of the program, the National Security Agency (NSA). The NSA awards CAE-C designations to institutions that commit to producing cybersecurity professional that will reduce vulnerabilities in our national infrastructure.

What is RING?

RING (Regions Investing in the Next Generation) is a cybersecurity course and online resources that offers interesting and engaging content specifically for students and schools without an existing cybersecurity program. 

There are three different ways to utilize RING:

1. External Instruction 鈥� Students learn cybersecurity from their teachers with access to RING content.
2. Centralized Instruction 鈥� Seasoned RING teachers teach target demographic students in a proven virtual experience. 
3. Educational Partners 鈥� Institutional Partners provide meaningful RING experiences to local area students.

Students can receive high school credit for RING in participating states.

The RING project is a supported grant from the National Centers for Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C). The NCAE-C program office is located within the National Security Agency (NSA).
