This page contains the approved technical electives (departmental and non-departmental) for B.S. Computer Science students. Check your degree audit using your MyWSU, or contact your adviser to determine how many hours are required.
Departmental Technical Electives
- CS 212 鈥 799, (excluding courses required by major, CS581, CS582, CS481@) and AC326, AC461 鈥 AC 464.
- ECE 100-799 (excluding courses required by major).
- For students who were required to take a First Year Seminar (FYS) course, the FYS course will apply as a departmental technical elective to their degree.
- Please be aware that sometimes courses change numbers and when they do you cannot take the new course number as an additional course to apply towards your degree (i.e., it will be considered a re-take). For example in the recent past CS 736 and CS 464 were combined into CS 664; CS 766 was renumbered to CS 656; CS 697AB was renumbered to CS 770.
