Rosin Funds' Environment Program

The Scherman Foundation provides funds to nonprofit organizations, through the Rosin Funds鈥� Environmental Program, for innovative projects that have a transformative impact on a critical environmental issue.

Clean Water State Revolving Fund - MO

The Missouri Clean Water State Revolving Fund provides communities a permanent, independent source of low-cost financing for a wide range of water quality infrastructure projects. 聽

Section 108 Loan Guarantee Program

The Section 108 Loan Guarantee Program provides communities with financing for economic development, housing rehabilitation, public facilities, and other physical development projects, including improvements to increase resilience against natural disasters.

Section 319 Nonpoint Source Pollution Grants

The EPA provides funding to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to assist communities/organizations that have approved Nine-Element Watershed Management Plans with the implementation of the Plan鈥檚 best management practices and associated activities in order to restore and protect waters that have been impaired or threatened by nonpoint source pollution (NPS).

Soil and Water Conservation Subdistrict

A Soil and Water Conservation Subdistrict may be formed to carry out watershed protection and flood prevention programs.

Stormwater Credits

Credits are given to property owners who reduce their property鈥檚 stormwater runoff. Some programs allow credits to be sold or traded to other property owners.

Stormwater Fee

Stormwater utility fees are implemented by the local government to cover the costs of stormwater infrastructure鈥檚 operation and maintenance.

Tax Increment Financing

Tax Increment Financing (TIF) is a local economic development tool that leverages new property taxes generated by public projects in a specified district. A TIF鈥檚 purpose is to fund public infrastructure or facilities to stimulate economic development.
