GD&T Concepts and Application
March 3rd-6th
This four-day course covers introductory through advanced topics, delivered in a straightforward explanation of Geometric Product Specification (GPS) in accordance with the ISO 1101: 2017 standard.
This course covers the principles, concepts, and applications of GPS tailored to manufacturing. Topics include defining geometric tolerances, interpreting engineering drawings, understanding datum references, and applying GPS in manufacturing processes. GPS is widely used in various industries, including aerospace, automotive, defense, space, and agriculture to ensure part quality and interchangeability. GPS facilitates communication between designers, engineers, and manufacturers 鈥 ultimately contributing to the production of high-quality parts and assemblies.
Shocker New Venture Competition
Since 2007, the Shocker New Venture Competition has offered aspiring entrepreneurs a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience. It allows participants to pitch their startup ideas, refine their business strategies, and gain valuable insights into what it takes to launch a successful company. This prestigious competition is proudly hosted and organized by 成人头条鈥檚 Center for Entrepreneurship, dedicated to fostering entrepreneurial endeavors.

Save The Date: Intro to Smart Manufacturing 2025
April 11th, 8 am - 1 pm
The Intro to Smart Manufacturing workshop provides an introduction to the latest trends in industrial emerging advanced manufacturing technology for small and medium manufacturers. The workshop will cover Additive Manufacturing, Advanced Machining, Automated Fiber Placement, Automation and Metrology Inspection; including keynote presentations, focused breakout sessions and tours of state-of-the art aerospace research facilities focused on advanced manufacturing. The workshop is free to attend, made possible through funding from the U.S. EDA Build Back Better Smart Manufacturing award and the DoD Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation Defense Manufacturing Community Support Program.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with and hear from SBIR/STTR leaders and experts, as they learn how to submit more competitive proposals and leverage available resources.
