The Office of Special Programs at 成人头条 administers programs that provide comprehensive services to low-income, first-generation, foster care and disabled individuals. We work to further the success and well-being of our clients through academic, career, social and accommodation services.

Monthly Celebrations:

: March is Women's History Month The Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Gallery of Art, National Park Service, Smithsonian Institution and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum join in commemorating and encouraging the study, observance and celebration of the vital role of women in American history.

: Each March, the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities (NACDD), and community partners work together to create a social media campaign that highlights the many ways in which people with and without disabilities come together to form strong, diverse communities.

: Irish-American Heritage Month during March in the United States, Americans recognize the numerous contributions of Irish-Americans to the U.S. throughout the years. From the founding fathers to innovative transportation, arts and culture, Irish immigrants for generations left deep roots in the American landscape.

: National Nutrition Month is a dedicated campaign focusing on the significance of nutrition and health. It seeks to educate individuals about the importance of making informed food choices, developing consistent eating habits, and undertaking regular physical activity. The theme of National Nutrition Month 2025 is 鈥淔ood Connects Us.鈥

Some Notable Days in March:

: The International Day of Mathematics (IDM) is a worldwide celebration. Each year on March 14 all countries will be invited to participate through activities for both students and the general public in schools, museums, libraries and other spaces.

: St. Patrick鈥檚 Day (March 17th) is a cultural and religious celebration that honors the patron saint of Ireland, St. Patrick. The day is widely celebrated in Ireland and by Irish communities around the world. It is a day to celebrate Irish heritage and culture, and is known for its festivities, parades, and green-themed events.

: The March equinox is the moment the Sun crosses the celestial equator鈥攁n imaginary line in the sky above Earth鈥檚 equator鈥攆rom south to north. This year the March equinox will happen on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 4.01 am Central Daylight Time (CDT).

: World Down Syndrome Day is on 21 March every year. It is a day of global awareness which has been officially observed by the United Nations since 2012. The goal is to help people understand and support those with Down syndrome better. The date being the 21st day of the 3rd month was chosen to represent the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome.
