Hippodrome Skit Competition
成人头条 State students are invited to participate in creating original works for the skit competition. Assemble a group of friends to write, direct and produce a 15-to-20-minute production to be showcased during Hippodrome 2023. The top three winners of the competition will receive cash prizes.

Competition Guidelines
- Participants must be students currently enrolled at 成人头条.
- Productions must be written, produced and choreographed by WSU students. Any actor or actress in the film may be WSU students or others.
- Skits should be within 15 to 20 minutes in length.
- ALL students and student groups must agree to follow , and university health and safety guidelines, in regard to Covid-19 and best practices for productions.
- Skits must be original and unpublished works.
- A skit should include a script, plot/story line, and characters. Productions typically include multiple characters with some form of rising/falling action.
- Skits must not contain anything pornographic, excessively vulgar, or are violent for the sake of violence.
- The spirit of Hippodrome is to be celebratory, entertaining, humorous and/or thought provoking. Slanderous, libelous, racist, sexist, homophobic or other mean-spirited content may not be incorporated in your production.
- Participants must obtain appropriate copyright authorization in advance on all clips, photos or music used.
- Participants must agree that all skits can be used for future promotional purposes by 成人头条 Student Involvement.
- The office of Student Engagement, Advocacy & Leadership has the right to refuse any production submissions.
Awards
The top three ranking videos from each category will receive a cash prizes. Prize money will be awarded to individual or foundation accounts for student organizations.
1st Place will receive $500
2nd Place will receive $300
3rd Place will receive $200

- This is for the SEAL offfice to review content and express any concerns.

- Description of your Skit for Playbill Due
- Original Script for review due with cover sheet (3 hardcopies)
Tuesday, March 19 鈥 Due by 5:00 p.m. in SEAL, RSC 216
- Final Script due with coversheet, three (3 ) hardcopies
