Our team of staff and student leaders coordinate hundreds of opportunities to engage in meaningful and memorable experiences. Some of our annual events include NXT LVL Garage Party, Involvement & Community Fair, Shocktoberfest, and Family Weekend to name a few.

The Student Activities Council is the university programming board that plans, executes, and markets over 50 events each year. Previous events have included comedians, concerts, BIG BINGO, Glow Party, Murder Mystery Dinners, and Road Trips. Join one of their five committees to meet friends, gain new skills, and have fun!

Traditions Committee

The Traditions Committee creates memorable student experiences during Shocktoberfest, our weeklong celebration of Shocker Pride. They coordinate the student group Spirit Competition, College Court, and events like the Kick-Off, Make & Takes, and Wu's Birthday Bash. In the spring you will find them coordinating the annual Shockers Got Talent!

Intramurals

Campus Activities and Recreation's sport program offers traditional team sports like soccer, flag football, volleyball, basketball and softball; but also has events like tennis, badminton and sand volleyball. Events range from single-day tournaments to multi-week league sports.
