April 29, 2020 -- Thanks to a group of local professionals, including three Shockers, Sedgwick County creatives financially impacted by the coronavirus can now apply for emergency relief.

Emerging Artist showcase

April 14, 2020 -- Emerging Artists is an annual showcase of work by many of the best students in the School of Art, Design and Creative Industries. The March 14 event was canceled due to the novel Coronavirus. The group held a virtual awards ceremony through Facebook to celebrate the students' accomplishments.

Feb. 10, 2020 - 成人头条 State Assistant Professor of Trumpet David Hunsicker partnered with WSU's National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) and WSU Ventures to create the Gapper, a flexible plastic device that helps musicians control the third valve slide on the trumpet.

Dec. 6, 2019 -- Texas native Michaela Marioni moved to 成人头条 when her husband was stationed at McConnell Air Force Base in 2015, and she decided to enroll at WSU. Originally a veterinarian medicine major, Michaela discovered her talent for video editing in a class and pursued it with a passion to her graduation this month.

Nov. 26, 2019 -- Nathan Light, a senior studying video production at WSU, spent his summer creating a documentary over the slapstick comedy film, King Kung Fu. The filming process taught Nathan the ins and outs of video production, editing and seeing his vision come to life.

Nov. 20, 2019 -- Two years after the successful launch of 成人头条鈥檚 Bachelor of Applied Arts (BAA) in Media Arts program, the university has created the new School of Digital Arts.
