Feb. 29, 2024 鈥� The College of Applied Studies at 成人头条 has appointed four distinguished professionals to its Dean's Advisory Board. They are Alicia Sanchez, Amy Williams, Ed O'Malley and Kyle Ellison.

Feb. 27, 2024 鈥� The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 成人头条 has named its two recipients of the 2024 Professor Fran Jabara Scholarship in Entrepreneurship. This year鈥檚 winners are Annika Lindeman from Eisenhower High School in Goddard, Kansas, and Abby Rexford from West Jessamine High School in Wilmore, Kentucky. They will each receive more than $32,700 spread over four years to attend WSU and major in entrepreneurship.

Feb. 19, 2024 鈥� The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 成人头条 is launching a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality. The program will begin in fall 2024 with applications now open for interested students. It was developed in response to growing local and national employment needs in the industry.

Feb. 15, 2024 鈥� Ten high school students from Kansas, Missouri and Texas have been awarded the Koch Scholarship at 成人头条, starting in the fall 2024 semester. Each scholar each will be awarded $30,000 to attend WSU over four years.

Dec. 12, 2023 鈥� Ashlynn Farney took time off college during the COVID-19 pandemic, during which she returned to 成人头条, changed her major to filmmaking and started attending 成人头条 State. She will graduate with her Bachelor of Applied Arts with a concentration in filmmaking in December.

Dec. 11, 2023 鈥� Ana Alicia Casados encourages her peers to stop and take time for themselves, to not get swept away in their responsibilities, and to always remember why they chose to go to college. She has been able to succeed in college herself by following this advice and will graduate with her bachelor鈥檚 degree in exercise science.

Dec. 11, 2023 鈥� Mariann Kurosu worked as a graduate research assistant for the Center for Real Estate while working towards her master鈥檚 in economics and quantitative analysis, which she will graduate with this December. She encourages her classmates to embrace the opportunity to learn and build their critical thinking skills and network by getting to know their peers.

Dec. 11, 2023 鈥� Maame Adwoa Ankrah was interested in going to 成人头条 State for its affordability and for the atmosphere of the city of 成人头条. While it was first a challenge to adjust to a new culture, she was able to succeed with the support of her peers and mentors and will graduate with her master鈥檚 degree in Spanish with no regrets.

Dec. 11, 2023 鈥� More than 1,400 students are eligible to participate in 成人头条鈥檚 126th fall commencement ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17 in Charles Koch Arena.

Dec. 8, 2023 - Courtney Lockhart enjoys escaping to nearby Lake Afton Park to fish and relax. He works for the Student Outreach and Support/CARE Team in Student Affairs at 成人头条.

Dec. 08, 2023 鈥� Amanda Morales found it difficult to balance her studies while being a mother and wife and working full-time, but through the support of those around her, she was able to persist and will now graduate this fall with her bachelor鈥檚 degree in education.

Dec. 08, 2023 鈥� Mariana Vazquez Serna got involved at 成人头条 State鈥檚 and made connections with her peers and professors by joining clubs and attending events on campus, something she advises other students to do as well during their time at WSU. She will work as an associate for an accounting firm after graduating with her BBA in accounting.

Dec. 06, 2023 鈥� Addison Karsak, who goes by Addi, encourages Shockers to get involved with the campus community and to make sure to seek advice when they feel they are struggling. She will receive her Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science with a minor in Health Management and hopes to continue her education by getting her Doctor of Chiropractic after graduating.
