Wallace Scholarship winners

Feb. 26, 2024 鈥 成人头条鈥檚 College of Engineering has named the latest group of 11 high school seniors to join the Wallace Scholar program. The Wallace Scholarship recipients will receive $30,500 each to attend 成人头条 State for four years.

Feb. 19, 2024 鈥 The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 成人头条 is launching a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality. The program will begin in fall 2024 with applications now open for interested students. It was developed in response to growing local and national employment needs in the industry.

Feb. 15, 2024 鈥 Ten high school students from Kansas, Missouri and Texas have been awarded the Koch Scholarship at 成人头条, starting in the fall 2024 semester. Each scholar each will be awarded $30,000 to attend WSU over four years.

Feb. 14, 2024 The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 成人头条 awarded Faith Swart, a Maize High School senior, the 2024 Clay Barton Scholarship. The $50,000 scholarship is one of the largest business scholarships in Kansas.

2024 Gore Scholars

Feb. 1, 2024 鈥 成人头条 has selected the 2024 recipients of the Harry Gore Memorial Scholarships. Each student will receive a $64,000 scholarship to attend 成人头条 starting in August 2024.

Jan. 22, 2024 鈥 成人头条 has selected the top 13 finalists in the 2024 Distinguished Scholarship Invitational (DSI).

Jan. 19, 2024 - Phase One of the 成人头条 Biomedical Campus being built in the heart of downtown 成人头条 now has its official look. The joint health sciences project between 成人头条 and the University of Kansas will bring about remarkable opportunities for collaboration, innovation and research.

Ashlynn Farney

Dec. 12, 2023 Ashlynn Farney took time off college during the COVID-19 pandemic, during which she returned to 成人头条, changed her major to filmmaking and started attending 成人头条 State. She will graduate with her Bachelor of Applied Arts with a concentration in filmmaking in December.

Avery Pierce

Dec. 12, 2023 - Avery Pierce loves 成人头条鈥檚 coffee scene and the applied learning in the sport management program at 成人头条.

Ana Alicia Casados

Dec. 11, 2023 Ana Alicia Casados encourages her peers to stop and take time for themselves, to not get swept away in their responsibilities, and to always remember why they chose to go to college. She has been able to succeed in college herself by following this advice and will graduate with her bachelor鈥檚 degree in exercise science.

Nicolas Olmedo

Dec. 11, 2023 - Nicolas Olmedo studied in the W. Frank Barton School of Business and will start work at Textron Aviation in January in the sales development program.

Mariann Kurosu

Dec. 11, 2023 Mariann Kurosu worked as a graduate research assistant for the Center for Real Estate while working towards her master鈥檚 in economics and quantitative analysis, which she will graduate with this December. She encourages her classmates to embrace the opportunity to learn and build their critical thinking skills and network by getting to know their peers.

Maame Adwoa Ankrah

Dec. 11, 2023 Maame Adwoa Ankrah was interested in going to 成人头条 State for its affordability and for the atmosphere of the city of 成人头条. While it was first a challenge to adjust to a new culture, she was able to succeed with the support of her peers and mentors and will graduate with her master鈥檚 degree in Spanish with no regrets.
