June 2, 2020 -- A Kansas City biotechnology startup company is getting a boost thanks to 成人头条鈥檚 National Science Foundation (NSF) Shocker Innovation Corps (I-Corps) program.

June 1, 2020- Will Parcell, a 成人头条 professor, created a virtual version of geology field camp. The camp will use Minecraft so students can map the terrain. The Terrain will be based on actual locations in Montana and Wyoming.

May 12, 2020 鈥 成人头条 State's Team Wire Pullers has advanced to the national competition in the Koch Innovation Challenge. The team 鈥 comprised of Braden Botkin, a sophomore in engineering technology; Adam Brown, a freshman in engineering; and Nicholas Ridpath, a freshman in applied computing 鈥 created a magnetic device to make pulling wires through walls easier.

May 5, 2020 鈥 Scraping frost from your automobile windshield before you can safely drive can be time-consuming and unpleasant, but a new device called Shiver could make it a little easier. WSU engineering students Rafael Bini Leite and Jefferson Vieira are developing a device that attaches to the windshield and has built-in sensors capable of detecting ice on the windshield, allowing motorists to clean and remove it effortlessly before it builds up.

May 4, 2020 -- A new research partnership between 成人头条鈥檚 (WSU) National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) and the U.S. Air Force will create a virtual B-1 Bomber that could help the Air Force predict the future of its supersonic bombers.

April 8, 2020 - The preparation and instruction completed by the Media Resource Center鈥檚 Instructional Design and Access department is the critical part of 成人头条鈥檚 new way of working during the COVID-19 pandemic. The IDA鈥檚 work on moving faculty and students online began in late February and it prepared its first website 鈥 designed with the idea of a few illnesses disrupting classes 鈥 on Feb. 27.

Feb. 26, 2020 -- 成人头条 and WSU Ventures have entered into a new strategic partnership with California-based Lightning Diversion Systems, a Ducommun Company. The partnership involves the exclusive licensing of a lightning strike protection system for rotor blades in the wind turbine industry.
