Christyn Budzyna is a musical theatre lyricist based in New York City.
Works include: THE PRINCE'S NEW PET (with Anthony DeAngelis and Jessica Penzias , productions at Stimulus Children鈥檚 Theatre and Fuse Productions), BAKED GOODS (with Helen Park and Charlie Cohen, 2016 Sound Bites Festival, winner of the 2017 City Theatre Summer Shorts Festival, winner of the 2018 Sam French Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival), THE FOX SISTERS (with Anthony De Angelis and Jessica Penzias), BOTS! Christyn was awarded the 2017 City Theatre National Award for Short Playwriting for her work on BAKED GOODS. The piece will be published and licensed by Samuel French Inc. in the coming year. Christyn is a member of the Dramatists Guild and the Tony Award-honored BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. She has a passion for writing code as well as writing musicals, and works as a web developer for The Public Theater.
