Work with Our MRC Teams

The Media Resources Center is composed of several different teams with a wide variety of opportunities for student employees to learn new skills, utilize current talents, and gain valuable experiences that can shape future career opportunities and pursuits.

Match Your Talents or Learn New Skills

Academic Accommodations and Accessibility

Academic Accommodations and Accessibility (AAA) converts academic materials into accessible formats with an emphasis on braille and tactile graphics. Student assistants assist by transcribing coursework and preparing documents for brailling.

Campus Media Services

Campus Media Services (CMS) supports AV technology in classrooms and meeting spaces across campus. Additionally, CMS's Event Services provides AV for live events such as conferences and meetings both on and off campus. Student employees assist by troubleshooting technology issues in realtime with instructors, assisting on installations and classroom maintenance, and providing live event support to our AV Event Lead.

Video Services

The Video Services team produces videos for on-campus clients, provides livestreaming and recording services for WSU events, and maintains the digital signage system across campus. With a full array of camera gear, production equipment, and editing/graphic software, our team is equipped for any project large or small. Student employees may assist with every phase of production, including helping with video shoots, operating cameras for events, assisting with live production, and editing.

Web Services

The MRC's Web Services Team (WS) is dedicated to providing training, support, and development assistance to WSU offices and teams for their webpages; helping teams present their information and services to an internal or external audience in an efficient, attractive, and professional way. Student employees may assist with online document remediation, the Digital Campus Signage Podcast, and main website upkeep.
